“In this application there is a carbon calculator that functions to calculate individual carbon emissions, then later there will be learning features and gamification features to realize the reduction of carbon emissions through the tasks given and will be given recommendations on what activities need to be done to reduce carbon emissions.” He explained.

Through a long preparation, Yusuf said that his interest in addressing environmental/climate change issues began when he volunteered and participated in a competition related to SDG’s (Sustainable Development Goals).

“The application that we made was originally to fulfill a level 2 course assignment, but based on the results of discussions with the team and supervisors, we finally developed it further, the development of this application is also based on our concern about environmental issues that are currently spreading.” He explained.

Yusuf hopes that this application can continue to be developed, and can even be enjoyed by the wider community, so that it can help overcome current environmental issues.

“We will continue to develop this application, and will continue to conduct further evaluations so that we can create startups engaged in the environment / climate change so that this application will be sustainable as a large ecosystem in mobilizing many elements of society.” He said.
