The proposed wearable reflector, which is meant for wireless communications, comprises 3x3 AMC unit cells. Each unit cell comprises a square patch and a square ring patch with gaps placed in a concentrically organized pattern. An RT/Duroid® RO3003 dielectric substrate with a thickness of 0.5 mm is employed for the design and implementation. Meanwhile, a printed dipole antenna as an inseparable part of the wearable reflector is also deployed on the same dielectric substrate. This configuration, i.e., a printed dipole antenna and a wearable reflector, is expectable to operate at two different frequency bands or dual-band, covering the required frequencies of wireless communications while maintaining its compact size and simple configuration. Experimental characterization is applied to validate the proposed design, in which the results demonstrate the ability of configuration to work at two frequency responses, namely 2.45 GHz band, and 3.35 GHz band.Paper Link

One important element in realizing 5G technology is the antenna. Antennas with beamforming capabilities are one of the keys to 5G technology. Beamforming itself is an antenna's ability to direct the radiation patterns produced with certain characteristics. Based on previous research, antennas with beamforming capabilities can produce higher gain and wider bandwidth. In that study, antennas with high gain cause the value of SINR to increase, so that the resulting throughput is also higher. One type of antenna that can be used for 5G technology is a microstrip antenna. However, microstrip antennas have several disadvantages, including bandwidth and small gain. At present, the 28 GHz frequency is the most developed 5G frequency candidate. In this research, a microstrip antenna designed with beamforming capability can work at a frequency of 28 GHz. The antenna designed is an 8×8 MIMO array antenna arranged linearly. An array of antennas is carried out in order to increase the antenna gain. The antenna that has been designed is then performed beamforming simulation. The beamforming simulation is done by adjusting the phase difference at each antenna excitation. The desired beam characteristic is that it can point to 60 degrees with a beam width ≤ 30 degrees. The simulation results show that the antenna is able to work in the frequency range of 27.07 GHz - 28.77 GHz at a return loss limit of less than -10 dB with a bandwidth of 1.7 GHz and a gain value of 20.1 dB. Meanwhile, the beamforming simulation results by providing a relative phase difference between excitation of 45 degrees and 90 degrees, resulting in a radiation pattern with a beam characteristic approaching as desired. Setting the phase difference between excitation by 45 degrees produces a beam that leads to 61 degrees, with a beam width of 34.4 degrees. Meanwhile, the phase difference setting between excitation of 90 degrees produces a beam that leads to 64 degrees, with a beam width of 35.8 degrees.Paper Link

So that there is Visible Light Communication (VLC) technology by uses a visible light source that can be a source of lighting as well as a communication medium that can be used on 5G networks with a higher frequency spectrum and bandwidth than RF. This study focuses on the throughput and Packet Loss Rate (PLR) values based on the offered load value when it reaches the threshold using Frameless CSA (Coded Slotted ALOHA). In addition, this study uses the Frequency Domain-Extended (FDE) method to increase the frequency or degree that will be used during the decoding process. This research uses the FDE value of K=1,2,3, with Non-Line of Sight (NLOS) channel models. The value of K is the number of additional frequency or degree values during the decoding process later. Based on the simulation results and research analysis, it shows that using the FDE method on NLOS channels, increases throughput by 61% and decreases PLR by 40%. Thus, the FDE method on frameless CSA can reduce the possibility of packet collisions.Paper Link

REST API is a method that implements the HTTP protocol and commonly used in the Internet of Things as a communication media between devices. Hence the performance will degrade when the amount of request is abundant and less reliable due to its synchronous communication. By using a message broker as the medium of communication between devices in fog computing, each connected device will not rely on each other and will make the message delivery more guaranteed. By reason, this research will implement a message broker for communication between devices in fog computing. Today there are many message brokers developed by various companies or communities. Choosing an unsuitable message broker can cause performance degradation, which results in a chaotic IoT system. The test results show that Apache Kafka has a higher throughput than RabbitMQ when the message size is calculable. However, when the message size is myriad, RabbitMQ is much better because the bottleneck of disk I/O usage occurred in Kafka. Nevertheless, in latency testing, RabbitMQ is always better even though the difference is not too far. This testing can also be concluded that the use of message broker in fog computing that extends the cloud computing architecture proven effective in implementing the IoT system.Paper Link

ALHAMDI SYUKRAArt, Design & Social Innovation for Social and Cultural SustainabilityOn the Design of Optimal Soft Demapper for 5G NR Wireless Communication SystemsThe fifth telecommunication generation new radio (5G NR) modulations enable transmissions to have high data rates although in the environments having large channel distortions and noise. However, the third generation partnership project (3GPP) only standardized the mapper of 5G NR, but left the design of demapper for the industries. This paper proposes an optimal soft demapper for all 5G NR modulations for better performances and practical implementations. The proposed soft demapper is optimized in terms of minimum bit-error rate (BER) subject to the limited practical soft values required by the hardware. We conduct a series of computer simulations to evaluate the performances of the proposed soft demapper without and with soft decoder. The simulation results confirmed that the proposed 5G NR demappers provide excellent performances without error-floor as expected by the theoretical BER curve performances for the case of without channel coding and more than 5 dB gain without error-floor for the case of decoding using soft decoders of convolutional and repetition codes. These results are expected to provide contribution to the development of practical 5G NR receivers.Paper Link

Performance analysis was carried out using a mathematical computational simulation using google colab with the python programming language. By taking into account the power allocation (?) strategy in the form of gain ratio power allocation (GRPA) and static power allocation (SPA). The interesting thing from this research is that the power allocation in the VLC system greatly influences the resulting performance. The accumulated of human social interaction form large scale unstructured data that possibly store timely knowledge. Social Network Analysis (SNA) methodology can be used to perform knowledge extraction from those unstructured data. SNA also provide the way to model user interaction pattern in social media. The majority research regarding user interaction pattern is in the form of static model, but in real-world, the interaction dynamically evolves. Hence, we use Dynamic Network Analysis (DNA) to study network dynamic structure during the observation time. In this research, we present analysis of user interactions evolution on social media, specifically in Twitter. As case study, Indonesia e-commerce and the telecommunication businesses are used for the reason of both are having high dynamic interactions market. User interactions is modeled as networks that are annotated with the time markers. ANDRY ALAMSYAH, DIAN PUTERI RAMADHANIArt, Design & Social Innovation for Social and Cultural SustainabilityThe Dynamic of Banking Network Topology Case Study: Indonesian Presidential Election EventInformation and communication technologies have brought major changes in data storage and processing. Various types and high volume of data has been digitalized and support mining-based data processing to provide knowledge in a modern and efficient way. Banking transaction data has been stored digitally and suitable for the mining process especially in network science model. Understanding transaction system risk requires fundamental study on payments flow and bank behavior in various situations. Lehman Brother’s failure spread contagion impact in a short time indicates that financial markets have interdependent properties and connected to each other in a large network. Thus, overall system network approach becomes more important than a single bank. Political conditions greatly affect economic stability including the banking and financial sectors. Presidential election is a major political event for a nation. This affected on community sentiment and financial market. However, the linkage between political events and topological changes is poorly understood. This research presents an insight of the event driven dynamic network topology with banking transaction as a case study. We search for the banking transaction network topology dynamic driven by 2014 Indonesian presidential election event. We discover that banks are more engaged to others in larger value 3 days before the end of campaign period and less engaged to others in smaller value in the end of campaign period. Unique transaction activity between banks remain stable with low declination in the end of campaign period. This scenario provides the possibility to learn the banking transaction pattern and support the financial system stability supervision.Paper Link

E-commerce has been a popular method for doing business, because of its simplicity of having commerce activity transparently available, including customer voice and opinion about their own experience. Those experiences can be a great benefit to understand customer experience comprehensively, both for sellers and future customers. This paper applies to e-commerces and customers in Indonesia. Many Indonesian customers expressed their voice to open social network services such as Twitter and Facebook, where a large proportion of data is in the form of conversational data. By understanding customer behavior through open social network service, we can have descriptions about the e-commerce services level in Indonesia. Thus, it is related to the government's effort to improve the Indonesian digital economy ecosystem. A method for finding core topics in large-scale internet unstructured text data is needed, where the method should be fast but sufficiently accurate. Processing large-scale data is not a straightforward job, it often needs special skills of people and complex software and hardware computer system. We propose a fast methodology of text mining methods based on frequently appeared words and their word association to form network text methodology. This method is adapted from Social Network Analysis by the model relationships between words instead of actors.Paper Link

The technology commonly used to determine the position of objects is the Global Positioning System (GPS). However, GPS does not detect objects that are indoors. Previous research used Wi-Fi as a reference for designing an indoor positioning system, but the system could not determine the position in detail because Wi-Fi could only detect object zones. Based on these problems, this research will propose the infrastructure prototype design of an indoor positioning system based on Visible Light Communication (VLC). The main focus of this research is designing a VLC transmitter and receiver system, estimating the distance between the receiver and transmitter based on the received signal strength, and estimating the receiver's position using the triangulation method based on a minimum of 3 distance estimates. Underwater voice communication itself is still becoming resistant due to acoustic waves, which have a propagation distance far but only have a small data rate (about kbps), and Radio Frequency (RF) which has a very short propagation distance, but with a high data rate (range up to Mbps). Underwater Visible Light Technology Communication (UVLC) was initiated to replace the role of waves carrier because besides having a long propagation distance, it also has a high data rate (up to Gbps). This research has tested the indoor and underwater channel tools with artificial seawater media. The transmitter uses Light Emitting Diode (LED) Super bright green LED or 500 nm wavelength, and the receiver uses a Positive Intrinsic Negative (PIN) photodiode of type BPW34. The experiment test scenario includes increasing the propagation distance and changing the angle. The output of this research is in the form of power received in dBm, internal sound level decibels a-weighting (dBA). After extensive testing, the result shows that the devices performance was stable, both indoor and underwater analysis. We also prove that the value of the received power and the sound level for excellent communication on the indoor channel is-6 dBm and 98.8 dBA. This communication system shares the same resources to two types of user, the cellular users and D2D pair. However, by using same resources, D2D underlaying communication system will increase the interference level among users. To overcome this problem, a good allocation algorithm is needed to allocate Resource Blocks (RB) which used by Cellular User Equipment (CUE) and D2D simultaneously. This work assumes all CUEs will use the RB first. The D2D pairs RB allocation take place after all CUEs get the resource. A modified Joint-Greedy algorithm is proposed to improve D2D pairs RB allocation process. The algorithm consist of two main phase. In the first phase, all D2D pairs will choose the best RB on the system, that being used by the CUE, and take that RB as a candidates. In the second phase, the eNodeB (eNB) will decides which of these candidates that will be allocated to D2D pair by searching the minimum impact of each CUE. From the simulation process, system with underlaying D2D communication can increase the system spectral efficiency system by 30%. Modified Joint-Greedy algorithm allocates can improve spectral efficiency of the system by 3.059% compared with mean-greedy allocation algorithm and 4.33% compared with a conventional greedy algorithm.Paper Link

However, the robot is not aware of its position within an indoor environment. Localization systems that use GPS are less effective when applied indoor. an alternative is Visible Light Communication (VLC) technology utilizing LED lights in the room. It should be noted that a localization system is quite important for knowing the position and location of the mobile robot while in operating. In this project, a localization system based on VLC zones is designed. The data used is transmitted from the LED lighting lamp to the photodiode as an identity (ID) of the lamp. The photodiode captures the light of the LED lamp containing the ID. The decoded output from the photodiode, as the receiver, is the location information displayed by nine LED indicators. The results of the experiments show that the transmitter can send information signals according to the programmed ID, i.e., zone a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, and i. The receiver side can obtain the ID of LED with an accuracy of 80% and thus show the localized zone of the receiver. The best distance achieved between the transmitter and receiver in VLC communication is 20 to 100 cm using a 20W LED. The maximum zone range of each lamp is in the area of 32 × 32 cm2 and the receiver can identify the nine zones accordingly based on the signal sent by the transmitter.Paper Link

But now, with visible light communication we can use it as a medium to communicate between vehicles, especially motorbikes. Visible light communication (VLC) is a communication system using visible light as an information carrier. VLC has many advantages including in terms of safety, speed, and ease of application to the user to send various types of information including digital data such as text and images. The VLC transmission section will use the LED motorcycle headlamps to send information to the receiver i.e. Light-to-Voltage Sensors are mounted on the back of a motorcycle when several motorbikes are in convoy or platooning. This study describes the use of VLC Vehicle-to-vehicle technology so that motorbikes can communicate with each other so that the motorcycle itself can adjust the distance with other motorbikes in front of him without being under or semi-controlled by the rider. From the results of measurements with the selected transmitter and receiver system, communication between motorbikes can be done up to 130 cm during the day and 180 cm at night. The potential of this technology is that it can truly support communication systems between vehicles such as self-driving motorcycles in the future.Paper Link

The result from sensing becomes meaningless if it is not known from where the originating node is. Therefore, a sensor node positioning scheme, known as the localization scheme, is required. The localization scheme consists of distance estimation and position computing. Thus, this research used connectivity as distance estimation within range free algorithm DV-Hop and Amorphous, and then trilateral algorithm for computing the position. Besides that, distance estimation using the connectivity between nodes is not needed for the additional hardware ranging as required by a range-based localization scheme. In this research compared the localization algorithm based on range free localization, which are DV-Hop algorithm and Amorphous algorithm. The simulation result shows that the amorphous algorithm have achieved 13.60% and 24.538% lower than dv-hop algorithm for each parameter error localization and energy consumption. On node density variations, dv-hop algorithm gained a localization error that is 26.95% lower than amorphous algorithm, but for energy consumption parameter, amorphous gained 14.227% lower than dv-hop algorithm. In the communication range variation scenario, dv-hop algorithm gained a localization error that is50.282% lower than amorphous. However, for energy consumption parameter, amorphous algorithm gained 12.35%. lower than dv-hop algorithm.Paper Link

This paper analyzes the decoding behaviour of Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) and Single Carrier IoT (SC-IoT) networks using extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) chart to observe their throughput performances in low and high volume traffics. NB-IoT uses slotted ALOHA as its multiple access technique that discards collided packets, while SC-IoT uses coded random access (CRA) scheme, where the collided packets are to be resolved using successive interference cancellation technique, which is equivalent to peeling decoding at packet level. We also analyze network performances in terms of packet-loss-rate (PLR) and throughput using a series of computer simulations. Our results confirmed that SC-IoT using CRA has better performance than NB-IoT in terms of PLR, throughput, and gap of EXIT chart indicating that SC-IoT based on CRA scheme is a promising scheme for future IoT to serve massive number of users or devices.Paper Link

Initially, this dish was served at the Tjap Go Meh celebration. Uniquely, this dish is actually not found in China. The similarity with Ketupat Lebaran has a connection with the spread of Islam in Java and the acculturation with the local culture. Unfortunately, not many people know about the origin and philosophy of this dish. In the Chinese Peranakan community in Indonesia itself, especially the younger generation, they mostly do not know about the history behind the Lontong Tjap Go Meh, other than it is a dish passed down by previous generations. Tjap Go Meh’s celebration in Indonesia can be said as something new for them, especially since this celebration was banned during the New Order regime. This cultural-based research intends to reintroduce the origins and philosophy of Lontong Tjap Go Meh through media that can be enjoyed by the younger generation, namely short animation.;his media form is easily accessed easily and is more effective, especially in this COVID-19 pandemic era. ISTIKMAL, EDWAR, INDRARINI DYAH IRAWATIArt, Design & Social Innovation for Social and Cultural SustainabilityA Novel Approach: Routing Metric Using Level Crossing Rate for Device-to-Device Communication in Multipath Fading EnvironmentIn the real world, device-to-device (D2D) communications in ad hoc networks often experience changes in signal quality. The change in path characteristics is caused by the distance and multipath fading between the transmitter and receiver, so that the amplitude and phase of the received signal vary over time. Consequently, the performance of the routing algorithm in determining uncertain communication paths causes a significant decrease in throughput. Therefore, calculating the fading rate and the fading signal frequency, which are below a threshold, becomes imperative. This mechanism is known as the level crossing rate (LCR). Here, we propose LCR as a novel metric model approach for routing in multipath fading environments to determine the communication path. Also, we created a model for estimating throughput based on the LCR. We evaluated and compared the performance of our proposed method to that of a routing model that uses the shortest path algorithm (SPA) and channel quality (CQ) aware routing that employs average signal-to-noise ratio (ASNR) and average power connection (APC) as the metric. The simulation results show that the proposed LCR routing model outperforms another routing model that applies SPA, ASNR, and APC.Paper Link

System security is one of the important things that must be considered both in wireless and wire line network. Wireless sensor networks are expanding which are vulnerable and therefore require an effective security mechanism. Wireless sensor networks have several constraints such as limited memory, energy and computational capabilities that create constraints when coupled with security at sensor nodes. To solve the problem, this final project will implement and analyze security system in wireless sensor network refers to ZigBee standard. ZigBee schemes can be synchronized with new protocols targeted at low rates, small power devices, and sensor nodes. ZigBee requires cryptography that is expected to save power, computing power, and storage resources. To that end, the chosen security system is using AES encryption algorithm (Advanced Encryption Standard) which is implemented directly on ZigBee. In this research successfully apply AES128 decryption and encryption algorithm on wireless sensor network. The test used is a passive attack that can only see and capture the package only. In a security performance analysis, the confidentiality parameter is not fulfilled if it does not use security. Integrity parameters are fulfilled using or without security. The accumulator is added after the LT codes to avoid direct connection of LT check-nodes (CND) to the channels. The effectiveness of the proposed PA - Tornado codes is analyzed using Extrinsic Information Transfer (EXIT) chart under the binary erasure channels (BEC) due to its simplicity. We reveal the mechanism of rateless capability of the proposed codes, which is not the case of traditional codes, as well as the significant contribution of the accumulator to bring the MI of LT to close to (1,1) point. This paper develops coded random access (CRA) using repetition codes as a multiple access scheme for ultra high dense networks, which is expected to serve millions of nodes, covering human and machines simultaneously. Repetition codes are selected because of its simplicity in design and implementation, where a packet is copied and transmitted to the common destination according to the designed rate. This paper aims to maximize the number of users (both human and machines), where the priority of access is given to the human. In this study, human and machines are using coding and modulation system that match each other, according to extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) chart, to minimize loss. We evaluate the performance of the proposed access scheme using simple degree distribution for human and machines groups in terms of packet-loss-rate and throughput. This inefficiency was attempted to be solved with the Content Distribution Network. A replica server is located in a particular location, usually on the edge router that is closest to the user. The user’s request will be served from that replica server. However, caching on Content Distribution Network is inflexible. This system is difficult to support mobility and conditions of dynamic content demand from consumers. We need to shift the paradigm to content-centric. In Named Data Network, data can be placed on the content store on routersthat are closest to the consumer. Caching on Named Data Network must be able to store content dynamically. It should be selectively select content that is eligible to be stored or deleted from the content storage based on certain considerations, e.g. the popularity of content in the local area. LEANNA VIDYA YOVITA, NANA RACHMANA SYAMBAS, IAN YOSEF MATHEUS EDWARDArt, Design & Social Innovation for Social and Cultural SustainabilityThe Effect of Cache Partitioning and Sharing on Named Data NetworkThe IP network is inefficient to support data communication. The IP network modifications into a Content Distribution Network scheme can not accommodate consumer mobility and consumer demand patterns that is change dynamically. So that, Named Data Network has been proposed to focus on content for data communications. The Named Data Network router comes with a content store for storing data. The content store size is limited so special techniques are required to optimize content store usage and keep NDN performance in good level. In the previous study, the majority choose data to be stored in content stores based on content popularity only. Popular data will be prioritized to keep in content store and the data with less popularity will be deleted from content store when it is full. This basic technique is known as ‘sharing-technique’. Sharing-technique is difficult to differentiate the treatment of the data with more than one classification requirement. In fact, it is needed to differentiate the treatment for different requirements classes, not only the content priority. In this research, simulation is conducted to analyze the influence of content storage policy with sharingtechniques and partitioning-techniques. The partitioning- technique accommodates data storage that considers to the different class of content and also popularity of the content. The results of the simulation show that partitioning-technique gives maximum 36% more cache hit ratio than sharing-technique, view in network level. Partitioning-technique allows flexibility of class-based settings for content based on the proportion of content store, while in the sharingtechnique the difference in cache hit rate for content classes is not significant.Paper Link

VLC has several advantages over radio frequency technology, such as safer communication because light propagation cannot penetrate the wall, so it is difficult to do hacking, easy to get a license, relatively build cheap cost, and has no side effects on health. However, VLC has several limitations, one of which is the narrow bandwidth modulation. VLC undergoes a distribution of modulated bandwidth to allocate against each user. This bandwidth sharing has an impact on reduced system capacity. This study applied non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) to increase system capacity. This research analyzes the performance of the two best power allocation methods in a water medium, including gain ratio power allocation (GRPA) and static power allocation (SPA). In the results obtained in the NOMA-UVLC power allocation value, GRPA is more stable than SPA power allocation. Then applying residue in the successive interference cancellation (SIC) process will result in a decrease in system capacity compared to no residue in the SIC process. This study found that the GRPA power allocation is more stable in capacity performance compared to the application of SPA power allocation. This paper studies a preliminary model of Indonesia 5G channels based on statistical spatial channel model (SSCM) for operating frequency of 28 GHz. We calculate the estimate channel capacities of Indonesia 5G (per link) from the obtained power delay profile (PDP) to observe the outage probability representing the theoretical performances of 5G in Indonesia. The outage probability is calculated from the probability when the channel capacity C dropped into a value below the channel coding rate R with a probability of P (R ≥ C) due to the dynamic fading, indicating a failure of detection. The outage probability is in detail analyzed in this paper since it is expected to be used as a reference performance of 5G in Indonesia. We conduct a series of computer simulations to evaluate the performance of Indonesia 5G under the obtained channel model based on cyclic prefix-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (CP-OFDM) with a channel coding scheme. We found an agreement in terms of diversity of practical and theoretical outage probability confirming a good estimation of the performance of 5G in Indonesia. This is supported by the availability of adequate network infrastructure for both wired and wireless networks. The development of wireless networks is faster than wired networks. Wireless networks are more flexible, cheap and easily installed, which makes them more attractive. But wireless networks have the disadvantage of being particularly vulnerable to congestion. This congestion has a major impact on network performance, as measured by network throughput per user. Wireless networks also vary dependent on weather and environment, or interference. In this research, interference was tested on throughput and how to maintain a high value of throughput with a variety of diverse environments. The results of this research found that congestion greatly affects throughput. Keeping throughput high is done by increasing signal transmission and antenna gain at the receiver.

D2D communication led to significant interference on mobile networks when sharing radio resources, and precise radio resource allocation requires algorithms to reduce interference. This study aims to evaluate the most optimal radio resource allocation algorithm of 5G D2D communication underlying on a 4G LTE network using heuristic algorithms, minimum interference algorithms, and random allocation algorithms. Each algorithm tested with the scenario that involved variations of the cell radius distance, the value of data rate, fairness, and energy efficiency to determine the most optimal algorithm. The result shows that the higher amount of cell radius distance in a system makes the value of the system's data rate, fairness, and energy efficiency smaller because the gain on the device in the system also becomes smaller. Heuristic algorithms were having better data rates and energy efficiency compared to other algorithms. Therefore, it is suitable to be used when the level of system complexity is high. However, it works less optimally when a system has a vast cell radius because the heuristic algorithm's performance value tends to decrease with a more significant difference at each increase.Paper Link

Wayang art is significant to Javanese culture, along with its patriarchal ideology. By assumption, that ideology is also reflected in the wayang comics. Using descriptive qualitative analysis, preceded by aesthetical morphology, this paper discussed the way a wayang comic artist visualized princess characters. Teguh Santosa was chosen due to his reputation as an Indonesian comic maestro, along with his sensual visualization of women. Finally, the kind of sociocultural context with which Teguh perceived women, and the visual translation method he invented, was explored. This will complete understanding on Javanese wayang adaptations into comics and the possibility of it being realized in digital media.Paper Link

It is one of the most anticipated technologies because the 6G network operates at considerably higher frequencies, has far greater capacity, and has much-reduced latency than 5G networks now do. Visible Light Communication (VLC) is a new technology in Optical Wireless Communication (OWC) that has the potential to become the communication medium for a 6G network through the visible light from Light Emitting Diode (LED) that can be implemented for indoor and outdoor communication systems. We have done simulations with the assumption that communication occurs indoors and uses the line of sight channel model. We also consider a high bit rate of up to 1 Gbps to meet future needs. For indoor VLC systems, the LED placement technique is very influential on the coverage of a room, and this research proposes designing VLC systems in a closed indoor room, measuring 5×5×3 m3 . The computer simulation obtained the highest received power at −18 dBm with the best coverage link communication 1.88 m 2 and receiver propagation distance to the transmitter at 2.397 m.Paper Link

The analysis is conducted by first determining the number of transmissions in DC-DHKA and then comparing the resulting communication complexity of this protocol with other variants of Diffie-Hellman key agreement protocols that utilize regular Diffie-Hellman key, namely the ING, GDH.1, GDH.2, and GDH.3 protocols. The mathematical and numerical analyses show that the total number of bits transmitted in the DC-DHKA protocol is always fewer than those of ING, GDH.1, and GDH.2 protocols for a group of N >= 19 participants. In addition, we also prove that the total number of bits required for the entire messages’ transmissions in DC-DHKA protocol for N participants that uses the multiplicative group Fq* is log2(q) 2^(log2(N)) (log2(N) + 1) - 2.Paper Link

Students are less interested in delivering essential points based on text because they are considered monotonous. Nowadays, many students tend to read comic books rather than books. Comics can wash away the emotions of readers in the storyline. Therefore, we need supporting media to help teachers visualize essential points in the book in comic form. So that to help teachers in this regard, a user interface model is needed. This research was conducted with a Goal-Directed Design approach to gain user perspective in developing supporting tools to visualize the material's crucial points in the form of comic strips. Testing the resulting model was carried out twice and each test involved 15 respondents to get maximum results. The nature of this environment usually involves an architecture of values that conflicts with various formats. Even within a single database, consistent data quality is not always good unless appropriate rules are applied. Whether the information is dormant in the data warehouse or manipulated quickly by the application, the data quality is not enforced at all or is controlled by various components with inconsistent rules embedded in the code. To turn information into knowledge and harness its great value, data quality must, of course, be addressed through the application of continuous data processing, starting with proper and systematic evaluation. This paper proposes (i) a harbor channel model and (ii) a simple iterative repetition coding for harbor wireless communication of monitoring systems. The harbor channel model is derived using a series of computer simulations based on real-field harbor environmental parameters, while the proposed iterative channel coding is based on the repetition codes assisted by a doped accumulator (ACC) with a doping technique. Channel coding and doping rates are designed using an Extrinsic Information Transfer (EXIT) chart and are evaluated using a series of computer simulations in terms of Bit Error Rate (BER) and Frame Error Rate (FER) performances with an outage performance as the theoretical baseline for comparison. Since the EXIT curve of the repetition codes has steep curve, we use a non-Gray Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) to achieve a better matching between the decoder and the demapper of harbor channels. The focus of digitization in research is only on one type of saron musical instrument because the saron instrument is the main melody in a gamelan instrument that can be played individually and is more harmonious when played in collaboration. The most important thing in playing gamelan instruments is playing several types of musical instruments at the same time, especially the saron instrument. In using the saron instrument itself must be played collaboratively according to the tempo. For this reason, to make the interaction design model, the Call and Response System method is used, which has a “your turn” indicator and the Rhythmic Emphasis Weighting method connected to the “Techno Rhythm Monitor”. The application of the two methods above, the interaction design modeling design uses the Design Thinking method. The research testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) because the results have a high level of validity for a study. The test results from research using the Call and Response System and Rhythmic Emphasis Weighting methods resulted in an interaction design model playing the saron musical instrument that can collaborate according to the tempo. For the test results using SUS, which obtained a final result of 85%, it is at level B and means that the interaction design model that has been designed is acceptable because it has met the user’s goals (proper).Paper Link

Water has a crucial role in the process of life. This role indicates that water is a symbol attached to every living thing, especially humans. The relationship between water and humans is often visualized in various forms and mediums. One of them is in the digital comic Bang Gaber by Rizal Fahmi, which features the element of water in the digital comic theme. The use of water elements and symbols is one of the attractions of the digital comic to be studied more deeply related to its visual structure. This research is included in the Qualitative, using an approach to the Science of Fine Arts (Comic). The data source is Rizal Fahmi, comic artist of Bang Gaber, taken from Instagram. Data collection techniques through observation and visual studies. Data analysis with the support of the relevant literature review on the visual structure. The theory used to analyze is the structuralism theory of Levi-Strauss about the structure in a comic artwork. The research results show that the visual structure of digital comics with the theme of water in comics consists of the surface structure as a tangible visualization of water as an object that delivers philosophical thinking in life and is symbolized metaphorically. At the same time, deep structures are in the form of wisdom, toughness, and self-acceptance. Given that Bang Gaber's Digital Comics is one of the revivals of Indonesian comics, comic book fans may easily access them. Visual analysis is necessary to uncover the emerging visual structure and understand this digital comic's messages and meanings.Paper Link

This condition increased the eNodeB load. To overcome this problem, the device-to-device (D2D) underlaying communication is introduced. In underlaying scheme, the D2D user equipment (DUE) will do the communication process using the same radio resources with the conventional cellular user equipment (CUE). To avoid a severe interference between these two types of user in the system, a good resource allocation is needed. In this work, a power control scheme using particle swarm optimization (PSO) is proposed, to manage the transmit power on each user on the system. The power control scheme take place after the greedy scheduling algorithm, after all user is given a resource block (RB) to do the communication process. The power transmit for each user is managed to reach a better system capacity, and to reduce the power consumed in one communication process. From the simulation, the PSO power control can improve the sumrate and spectral efficiency up to 12.97% and 3.38% respectively.
